Choose a route

Common immigration pathways

Most working-age applicants enter one of four broad routes. The right choice depends on your occupation, age, qualifications, and the country's current demand list.

Skilled work / points-based

Permanent or long-term work visas scored on age, education, work experience, and language. Includes Canada's Express Entry, Australia's Skilled Migration (189/190/491), the UK Skilled Worker visa, and Germany's Opportunity Card.

Employer-sponsored

A specific employer offers you a job and supports your visa. Includes the US H-1B, US L-1, UK Skilled Worker, Australia's TSS 482 / ENS 186, and Canada's LMIA-based work permits.

Investor & entrepreneur

Routes for people setting up or investing in a business. Includes the US E-2 and EB-5, UK Innovator Founder, Canada Start-up Visa, Australia Business Innovation, and Germany's self-employment visa.

Family & study-to-PR

Spouse, partner, and dependent visas, plus pathways from a student visa to PR — strongest in Canada (PGWP → CEC) and Australia (485 → 189/190). The USA and UK have narrower family categories.

3. Profile & lodgement

Profile creation in Express Entry / SkillSelect / Skilled Worker portals, Expression of Interest (EOI), state or provincial nomination if relevant, and final visa lodgement with full document package.

4. Decision & landing

Biometrics, interview (where required), CoPR or visa grant, landing checklist, SIN / NI / Medicare / Tax File Number registration, and first-week settlement support.

FAQs

Common immigration questions

Which country has the fastest PR pathway?

For skilled professionals, Canada (Express Entry) and Australia (subclass 189 / 190) typically deliver PR fastest — often within 6–18 months from Invitation to Apply, with no employer sponsorship required.

Do I need a job offer to apply?

Not always. Canadian Express Entry, Australian 189, German Opportunity Card, and UK Global Talent / HPI do not require a job offer. The US H-1B and L-1 do. The UK Skilled Worker visa does.

How important are language scores?

Critical. IELTS, CELPIP, PTE, or TEF scores often determine 20–40% of points-based outcomes. We help you target the specific bands needed to clear the cut-off in your chosen system.

Can my family come with me?

Yes — most skilled visas include spouse / partner and dependent children. Spouses often get open work rights (Canada PGWP / Australia 189 / UK Skilled Worker dependant). We file the full family pack together.
